Background:
Phulbari is one of the prominent Upazila under the Dinajpur district of the northern part of Bangladesh. Children with disabilities are more vulnerable, especially CP (Cerebral Palsy) and children with multiple disabilities. Their miseries have known no bounds. Considering these situations, Association for the Disabled Development (ADD) has taken the initiatives at the community level services from 2012 at Phulbari Upazila. ADD also taken some significant steps which play a vital role in creating awareness among parents on disability issues, community home-based services for CP (Cerebral Palsy), and children with multiple disabilities. ADD is working with approximately 300 children to outstrip their barriers. At the beginning of 2016, ADD started center based services by observing the needs of children with disabilities.
